Local Government Internship Information Session

Interested in a paid internship where you can explore local government careers and see what the work’s all about? The SPP Local Government Internship is a paid opportunity for School of Public Policy students to explore careers in local government and public service. This internship is funded by the Institute for Public Leadership (IPL) and offered in partnership with The Maryland Municipal League and SPP Career Services. Interns will gain hands-on experience supporting local leaders and community-focused projects while helping to share the value of public policy work at the local level. This is a competitive selection process based on the strength of each applicant’s materials. IPL will fund four paid internship positions. Both undergraduate and graduate SPP students are encouraged to attend the information session.
